Durigo
A living map of where the good durian is
Durigo is a community map of durian activity across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Penang. Sightings, stock, prices and reviews from people nearby, so you can tell what is worth the trip before you make it.

Why a map
Durian supply is a moving target. A stall that had the good Musang King on Tuesday has something else on Thursday, at a different price, two streets over. The information exists. It is just spread across chat groups and Facebook posts that are stale by the time you read them.
Durigo gives that information a place to live: a sighting is pinned to a location and a time, a review is pinned to a variety, and both decay in relevance the way the fruit does. The more people contribute, the better it gets, which is the honest version of the pitch and also the hard part.
What you can do
Browse a map of recent sightings, freshest first. Open a store to see its varieties, prices per kilo, stock level, opening hours and what people thought. Drop your own sighting, rate a variety on ripeness and sweetness, add a photo.
Sellers get their own side of the app, where they maintain their varieties and stock directly, so the listing people are reading is the one the stall actually meant.
Where it stands
The iOS beta is open now; the Android beta is by invitation. A unified compose flow is most of the way through a rebuild, and the launch plan is seller-first in Singapore, KL and Penang.
